Better Curcumin

Higher levels of the inflammatory marker hs-CRP have been associated with worse performance in executive function (Wersching H, et al. 2010). High levels of hs-CRP can be used to identify individuals at an increased risk for cognitive decline (Komulainen P, et al. 2007).

Compared with a placebo, supplementation with curcumin was associated with a significant reduction in C-reactive protein (CRP) (Sahebkar A, 2014).

Working memory and mood were found to be significantly better after taking curcumin for 4 weeks, and total cholesterol and LDL cholesterol were also significantly reduced (Cox KH, et al. 2015).

Better Fish Oil

Omega 3 fatty acids have been found to exert positive effects on memory in healthy older adults (Kulzow N, et al. 2016).

Omega 3 fatty acids have shown to improve cognition and brain function in young and older adults (Bauer I, et al. 2014, Witte AV., et al. 2014). 

The Better Fish Oil comes in the form of triglycerides which offers better stability to the fatty acids and prevents breakdown and oxidation.

Most fish oils on the market are ethyl esters because that's cheaper to produce. Fish oil in a triglyceride form is also better absorbed than ethyl esters (Beckerman B. et al. 1990).
